9. Purchases and Payments 9.1 Rakuten supports one or more of the following payment methods in each country in which it operates: (i) Credit Cards Varies by jurisdiction.

10. Seller Wallet



10.1 Your Account allows for the storage of funds you receive from the proceeds of sales on the Platform ("Seller Wallet"). The sum of this money, minus any withdrawals, will reflect the balance in your seller wallet.





10.2 You may transfer funds from your Seller Wallet (up to your Seller Wallet Balance) to your Linked Bank Account (“Linked Account”) by submitting a transfer request (“Withdrawal Request”) at most once per day. Rakuten may also periodically automatically transfer funds from your seller wallet to your linked account at Rakuten's discretion. Rakuten will only process such transfers on business days and it may take up to two business days for such transfers to be credited to your linked account. Rakuten can only pay sellers via bank transfer. Therefore, sellers must provide Rakuten with their bank account details in order to receive payment from their seller wallet.



10.3 Currently, Rakuten can only pay you through third party payment channels. Therefore, you are required to provide Rakuten with your detailed payment information for collection purposes (eg, payment for merchandise sales or Rakuten refunds).



(a) Rakuten sets the corresponding payment cycle based on the seller's store reputation score. They are 1 star, 2 stars, 3 stars, 4 stars, 5 stars, and preferred sellers.



(b) The registered store of the new seller is the preferred seller. The payment cycle of the preferred seller and 5-star seller's store is T+1 on the working day.



(c) The payment cycle for 4-star stores is on the 10th, 20th, and 30th of each month.



(d) The payment cycle for 3-star and 2-star stores is on the 15th and 30th of each month.



(e) The payment cycle for 1-star stores is processed on the 1st of each month.



10.4 Payments made by you for selling items on Rakuten shall be credited to your seller wallet within seven (7) days of the item being delivered to the buyer or as soon as the buyer confirms receipt of the item.





10.5 Once submitted, you may not modify or cancel a withdrawal request.



10.6 In the event of an error in processing any transaction, you authorize us to initiate a debit or credit entry to your nominated bank account to correct such error, provided that any such correction complies with applicable laws and regulations. If for any reason we are unable to debit your nominated bank account, you authorize us to resubmit the debit and any applicable charges to any other bank account or payment instrument you have on file with us, or to debit the debit and applicable charges Get it from your seller wallet in the future.





10.7 You authorize us to initiate a debit or credit entry to your seller wallet:



(i) correct any errors in the processing of any transactions;

(iv) in connection with any reward or rebate;



(v) in relation to any uncollected fees;



(vi) in connection with the resolution of any transaction disputes, including any compensation by or from you;



(vii) in relation to any prohibited item or item detained by customs;



(h) in relation to any changes agreed to by Buyer and Seller; and



(9) Until you have activated the advertising credit recharge function to purchase advertising credits and your advertising credits have fallen below the minimum amount of your advertising credits.





11. Shopping payment



11.1 If you have both a Rakuten account and an account with Rakuten Pay Pte. Ltd. ("Rakuten Pay"), you authorize Rakuten to disclose to Rakuten Pay such information as is necessary for Rakuten Pay to provide the Services (as defined in the Rakuten Pay Terms of Service) to you, including without limitation any payment details relating to your account .



12. Store Warranty



12.1 The Rakuten Warranty is a service provided by Rakuten or its authorised agents to protect purchases. To avoid the risk of liability, monies purchased from the Seller using the Services will be held by Rakuten or its authorized agent ("Rakuten Guaranteed Account"). Sellers will not receive interest or other income from the amount you pay to the Rakuten Guaranteed Account.



12.2 After the Buyer has paid for his order ("Buyer's Purchase Money"), the Buyer's Purchase Money will remain in the Rakuten Guarantee Account until:



(a) Buyer sends Rakuten confirmation that Buyer has received his/her Goods, in which case, unless 12.2(d) applies, Rakuten will release Buyer's purchase price (minus Seller's shipping percentage (if applicable), Transaction Fees and Taxes) the amount paid to the seller in the Rakuten Guarantee Account (as defined below) and (if applicable) cross-border fees (as defined below);



(b) the Rakuten Warranty Period (or any approved extension under 12.3) expires, in which case, unless 12.2(c) or 12.2(d) applies, Rakuten will release Buyer's purchase price (minus Seller's shipping charges) Proportion (if applicable), transaction fees and taxes (as defined below) paid to Seller in the Rakuten Guarantee Account and (if applicable) cross-border fees (as defined below);



(C) Rakuten determines that Buyer's return and/or refund request was successful, in which case, unless 12.2(d) applies, Rakuten will refund Buyer in accordance with the Refund and Return Policy;



(d) other time charges (as defined below) as Rakuten reasonably determines the allocation of Buyer's purchase monies (less Seller's proportion of shipping charges (if applicable), transaction fees and taxes (as defined below) and (if applicable) cross-border) ) is appropriate, including, but not limited to, where it believes it is reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or court order or to enforce these Terms of Service.



The Rakuten Guarantee is only available to buyers who pay into the Rakuten Guaranteed Account through the channels provided by Rakuten. Offline arrangements between buyers and sellers will not be covered by Rakuten guarantee.



12.3 Payments made through the Rakuten Channels will remain in the Rakuten Guarantee Account for a specified period of time (“Rakuten Guarantee Period”). Buyers may apply for a one-time extension of the Rakuten Warranty Period before the applicable Rakuten Warranty Period expires, subject to and abide by the Refund and Return Policy. The Rakuten Warranty Period may be extended for a maximum of three (3) days upon application by the buyer, unless Rakuten determines, in its sole discretion, that a longer period is required.
